He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah Martin and Helen Martin (Sheaffer); his wife Priscilla Miller; his daughter Berdene Walmer; and his sisters, Esther Martin and Elva Kaucher.
He is survived by: his children, Stephen (Martha), Stanley (Fannie Sue), Sherwood (Sandra), Christine (Dale Newcomer) of Bowdoin, ME and Delphine (Wesley Ramer) of Gleason, WI; his sisters, Janice Martin and Jean (Ralph Deckard); and his grandchildren, Rachel Martin, Lynette Martin and Samuel Walmer. He is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren and thirty-nine great-grandchildren.
