It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gertrude R. Shifflett (Manheim, Pennsylvania), born in Maytown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 4, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond N. Shifflett; her parents, Joseph Nye and Mary Nye (Flowers); her son Jimmy Lee; and her siblings, Robert, Bill Nye and Josephine Eisenhower.
She is survived by: her children, Eddie Shifflett (Pearl Minneo) of Elizabethtown, Walt (Cheryl Shifflett) of Elizabethtown, Steve Shifflett of Elizabethtown, Wayne (Ruth Ann Shifflett) of Elizabethtown, Raymond N. Shifflett, Jr. of Elizabethtown, Gordy Shifflett (Kayla Halbleib) of Elizabethtown, Bonnie Shifflett and Faith Adams. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
