He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Rittenhouse and Evelyn Rogers Rittenhouse; and his son Joel Rittenhouse. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley E. Groff Rittenhouse; his children, Franklin D. Rittenhouse Jr. and Patti Jo (Ron Greiner) of Manheim; his grandchildren, Amber and Adam; and his great grandchildren, Blake, Isabella, Abriella and Carson.
