He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred M. Ellmaker and Anna Mary Bender Ellmaker; his wife Mary Ann Ruhl Barnes; and his sisters, Connie Ellmaker, Patricia Hartman and Sarah Jane Ellmaker.
He is survived by: his siblings, Fred Ellmaker Jr. (Theresa) of East Petersburg, Kay Yockey of Lancaster, Kenneth Ellmaker (Carol) of East Petersburg, Barry Ellmaker (Catherine) of Manheim, Ronald Ellmaker of Manheim and Sue Lutchkus (John) of Leola. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
