He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton R. Nissley and Katie Rudy Nissley; his children, John D., Jay W. Nissley and Mary Ellen August; and his sisters, Emma Landis, Grace Nissley, Florence Oberholtzer, Anna Nissley, Helen Reitz and Rhoda Hostetter.
He is survived by: his wife A. Martha Denlinger Stahl Nissley; his daughter Barbara (Marlin W. Good) of Lititz; his brother Wilmer R. (Ruth Nissley); his brother-in-law Weaver Reitz; and his children-in-law, Elaine Martin Nissley Witmer, Elta Leaman Nissley Miller and Tom August.
