He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Mackley and Irene Mackley (Shaw); and his siblings, Robert, Eugene, Clair Mackley and Geraldine Geiman.
He is survived by: his wife J. Carol Mackley (Jenkins) of Manheim; and his children, Dale Mackley (Allison), Debra Detwiler of Manheim and Denise Hartman (Kevin) of Lancaster. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
