We bid farewell to Barry J. Bender of Manheim, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 20, 2025 at the age of 73. Barry touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As Barry departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Barry may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Barry leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John S. Jr. Bender and Mary Belle Wachstetter Bender; and his brother David Bender. He is survived by: his spouse Beverly J. "Bev" Thompson Bender; his daughter Erika (Thomas Kurtz) of Pine Grove; and his sister Jo Ann (Rance Phillips) of Mount Joy.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Ruhl's United Methodist Church (4810 Elizabethtown Rd, Manheim, PA 17545).
