She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Roy Hershey and Marie Baker Hershey; her husband Martin B. Garman; her sons, J. Richard "Dick" Garman and Roy D. Garman; and her sister Betty Mutzer.
She is survived by: her daughters-in-law, Betty M. Garman of Lititz and Christa Garman of Roseburg. She is also survived by five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.
