She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Groff and Mary Lefever Groff; her husband Clyde E. Keener; and her siblings, Pearl Banks (late Hoyt Banks) and Ivan Groff.
She is survived by: her children, Belize, Africa, Haiti, Betty L. (Lester Miller), J. Clyde (Vera) and Barbara A. (Nevin Kraybill). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren; and 19 great-great grandchildren.
