He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Grace; his daughters, Patti Murphy (Dan), Susie Miller (Mark) and Pam Lairdieson; his grandchildren, Katie, Lauren, Bill Murphy, Erika, Nicole, Hannah, Matthew Miller, Ryan, Grace, Meghan and Jake Lairdieson; his sister Mary Anne Boylan (Bill); his parents, John and Margaret; and his siblings, Suzanne Gallagher and John.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bill's memory to Our House Ministries, 1441 S. 29th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19146. The charity resides in the location of the former Shea Funeral Home in Grays Ferry and provides housing to those recovering from addiction as they seek employment.
