Richard left this world on February 6, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Doughty and Josephine Doughty (Argie); and his wife Darlene J. Doughty (Posey). He is survived by: his daughters, Maureen L. Doughty (Andres Hernandez) of Downingtown and Laura M. Doughty of West Chester; his granddaughters, Megan and Lindsey; and his siblings, Thomas A. Doughty, Dorothy Wall and Joann Donlan.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Glenhardie Country Club (1399 Old Eagle School Rd, Wayne, PA 19087).
A memorial donation in his honor can be made to the Valley Forge Park Alliance, the Smithsonian Institution, or the World Wildlife Fund.
