He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard B. Ashenfelter Sr. and Doris Warner Ashenfelter. He is survived by: his son Richard Ashenfelter III (Ricky); his daughter-in-law Gena Jiang; and also, Jayne Eberly Ashenfelter, Grizzy and Bella.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Richard's honor to a charity of your choice.
