He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Tapper and Wilma Tapper; his son David Martin Tapper; his brother Donald Tapper; and his wife Dorothy Weatherby Tapper.
He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda Banes (Brian), Diana Hicks (Lew) and Tracy Tapper; his stepchildren, Judi Dowell (Dave), Ruth Berwick (Chuck), Robyn M. Terrigno, Peter Megronigle (Karen), Stephen Megronigle (Karen) and Bobby Megronigle (Donna); his sisters, Nancy Applegate (Jim), Patty Doto, Kay Leeds and Linda DiCicco (Vince); and his grandchildren, Scott Banes, Michael Banes, Erin Banes, Kevin Banes, Lewis Hicks, Kenneth Hicks, David Hicks, Andrew Hicks, Raimen Tapper, Vanessa Tapper, Talia Tapper, Jared Tapper, Chrissy Clancey, Andy Terrigno, Joey Terrigno, Danny Megronigle, Todd Megronigle, Beth DiFazio, Melissa Justen, Sherry Rado, Neil Megronigle and Nathan Volpe. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.
