He was predeceased by: his spouse Olivene Cornelius (Dodie); his parents, Margaret Maxwell Cornelius (McMonegle) and William Emmett Cornelius; and his siblings, William Emmett Cornelius and Margaret Jane Cornelius.
He is survived by: his daughters, Nancy Carol (Clyde Trego) of Napa, Mary Elizabeth (Thomas Keating) of Hockessin, Claire Louise (Frank Gangware) of Traverse City, Margaret Jane (Edward Whitworth) of Malvern and Jennifer Ruth (John Sintic) of Franklin; and his grandchildren, Anna Trego, Maxwell Trego (Jillian), Liesa Burdeshaw (Ian), Donald Keating, Caroline Hyland (Ryan), William Gangware (Veronique), Louise Janson (Chase), Amie Lester (Jason), Andrew Whitworth (Dana), Geoffrey Whitworth (Nicole), Matthew Whitworth, Hadley Brown (Andrew), McKenzie Sintic, Jack Sintic and Guinneth Sintic. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
