She was predeceased by: her spouse Joseph Stewart Alexander; and her son Douglas Alexander. She is survived by: her children, Laura Burgess and Robert Alexander; her grandchildren, Jessica Zaro, Breanna Burgess, Justin Alexander, Kristin Cranston and Dana Alexander; and her great grandchildren, Cora Zaro, August Zaro and Christopher Zaro III.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Bettie's memory to the Paoli Presbyterian Church, 225 S. Valley Avenue, Paoli, PA 19301 or the Brandywine SPCA 1212 Phoenixville Pike, West Chester, PA 19380.
