With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Thomas E. Hayes (Mahanoy City, Pennsylvania), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Thomas left this world on January 8, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Hayes (Zavitsky) and Alfred Hayes; and his brothers, Greg and Daniel. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Schwartz Hayes; his grandchildren, Rachel (Adam), Megan (Sean), Katie (Jordan), Annie, Kyle, Brady, Michael (Danika), Sydney, Dani, Noah and Jack; and his great grandchildren, Eli, Lilly and Gwendolyn.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Theresa of Calcutta Parish (600 W Mahanoy St, Mahanoy City, PA 17948). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Gym-Jam Autism Therapy, 150 Chamberlain Ave., Pottsville, PA 17901 or Hillside SPCA, Pottsville.
