She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Walker and Elsie Walker (Freeman); her husband Wasil Aponick; her sisters, Margaret Ann "Muggs" Walker, RN, Shirley Gottshall and Edith Lipiec; and her stepdaughter Sally Ann Aponick.
She is survived by: her siblings, Clayton Walker (Mary Ann) of Mahanoy City, Frank Walker (Lillian) of New Jersey, Ruth Holden of Shenandoah and Grace Schuyler of Drums; her great-nieces, Aubrey and Emma Walker; and her pet Jinglebell Baby. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
