He was predeceased by: his parents, June Koval (Phillips) and Stephen Koval; his sister Peggy Crim; and his stepfather Frank Seltzer. He is survived by: his wife Mary (Steiner); his children, Erin (Brian Thiroway) of Frackville, Stephen Jr. of Shenandoah and Justin (Rebekah) of Barnesville; his siblings, Carla (Andy Gnall) of Calif, Kathy (Lance Edwards), Joyce (Dave Dougherty) of Downingtown, Cindy (Robert Rosso), Frank (Linsey Seltzer) of Numidia and Eric (Roxanne Seltzer) of Frackville; and his grandchildren, Wyatt, Scarlett Koval and Julia Thiroway.
