Joan E. Avenoso Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan E. Avenoso of Mahanoy City, Pennsylvania, born in Gilberton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 13, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Evans and Violet Evans (Thomas); her brother Thomas Evans; her niece Susan Berezwick; her great-nephew Keith Berezwick; and her sisters-in-law, Helen Evans and Anna Evans.
She is survived by: her children, Michael (Lisa Avenoso) and Patti (Jerry Sechrist); her brother NJ; her grandchildren, Joseph Tinninis (Katie), Jared Tinninis (Sasha) and Thomas Avenoso (Kristy); and her great grandchildren, Mila, Jordan, Coretta and Ella Tinninis.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers contributions, in Joan's name, to the Susan B. and Sgt. Keith T. Berezwick Memorial Education Fund.
