With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen R. Schaeffer of Mahanoy City, Pennsylvania, born in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 11, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Jensolowsky and Helen Jensolowsky (Chojnacki); her husband Clyde L. Schaeffer; her son Clyde E. Schaeffer; and her siblings, Sallamae, Zigmund, Phyllis, Adolf and Florence.
She is survived by: her sons, John Schaeffer (Lynnette Kurtz) of Bethlehem, Gary Schaeffer (Ann) of New Tripoli and Lee Schaeffer (Suzanne) of Hazleton; her grandchildren, Shannon, Melissa, Jarrod, Ashlee, Eric, Colin, Kyle and Garry Schaeffer; and her great grandchild Kaitlyn Miersky. She is also survived by 2 great granddaughters as well as nieces and nephews.
