We are sad to announce that on December 5, 2022, at the age of 92, Genevieve Sekela of Mahanoy City, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Michael "Mick" Sekela; her parents, Veronica Sherpinsky (Melusky) and George Sherpinsky; and her siblings, John Sherpinsky, Anna Blashock, Margaret Sebastian, Veronica Sherpinsky, Agatha Sherpinsky and Helen Wasilefsky.

She is survived by: her son Gregory Sekela of Trevose, PA; her grandsons, Jacob and Nathan; and her friend James Jamieson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
