She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecelia Alsvan (McCloskey) and Joseph Alsvan; her sister JoAnne Bobarsky of Mahanoy City; and her grandson Zachary. She is survived by: her siblings, Rosemary Alsvan, Frances Scheitrum, Patricia Alsvan, John Alsvan and Thomas Alsvan of Mahanoy City; her children, Betty-Jo Bowers and Anthony Bowers, III; and her granddaughter Grace. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
