She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Freeman and Dorothy Freeman; her husband Albert Jowanowitch; her daughter Robin Kensinger Pistella; and her brothers, Ronald and Gerald Freeman.

She is survived by: her son Lawrence Steven Kensinger; and her grandchildren, Ena Marino, Jessi Pistella and Alexis Pistella. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
