He was predeceased by: his parents, William Barger Sr. and Barbara Barger (Tucker); and his siblings, William Barger Jr., David Barger, Jennifer Sullivan and Barbara Walker.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Barger (Niper) of Mahaffey; his children, Donald A. Barger Jr. (Kristen), Brandi Barger (Justin Lute) of Mahaffy, Robert C. Barger of Pittsburgh, Danielle N. Smith (Christopher) of New Florence and Lisa N. Barger of Atlantic City, NJ; and his sisters, Patty Barger, Delores Barger, JoAnn Barger and Diane Theodore. He is also survived by eight step children; fifteen grandchildren and seventeen step grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the Wounded Warriors Project.
