He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Redden and Eva Redden (Barrett); his wife Sylva Jean Redden (Dale); and his brother James'Jim'Redden. He is survived by: his children, Diane Petracca (late Franks) of Curwensville, Dennis Kline Redden (Ellen) of Fishers, IN and Kevin Edwin Redden of Harrisburg; his grandchildren, April Rachelle Maines, Ashley Danielle Petracca, James Redden, Tracy Redden and Heather Brennamen; his great grandchildren, Brian Scott Maines and Casey Michael Maines; his great great grandchildren, Grace Carolyn Maines and Avery Maines; and his sister Darlene Hauch.
