He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur J. Hoffer and Pearl Hoffer (Higgins); his wife Judith A. Hoffer (Spoonhoward); his great grandchild Sage; and his siblings, Alan'Jake'Hoffer, Jean Ritenour, Elsie Johnston and Mae Reamer.
He is survived by: his sons, Dave Hoffer of Madison, PA, Eric Hoffer (Sharon) of Adamsburg, PA and Greg Hoffer of West Newton, PA; his siblings, Edna Zimmerman (Keith) of Arona, PA and Thomas Joseph Hoffer (Carol) of Arona, PA; his grandchildren, Samantha, Justin, Matthew, Benjamin, Joshua, Richard, Dylan, Nicholas, Tiffany and Rachel; and his great grandchildren, Luke, Savannah, Olivia, Brooks, Nickolas, Julian, Jaxson, Amelia, Brandon and Jason.
