We are sad to announce that on October 29, 2021, at the age of 74, John R. Emerson of Madison Township, Pennsylvania, born in Scranton, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Emerson and Dorothy Emerson (Smith). He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Emerson (Hughes); his sons, Brian Emerson (Michelle) of Sterling Twp, Neil Emerson (Brandy) of Jefferson Twp and Kevin Emerson (Beth) of Madison Twp; his grandchildren, Kenneth (Jessica), Kylie, Nathan, Makayla, Kaitlyn and Megan; and his brother Jerry Emerson.
