It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Matier Jr. of Madera, Pennsylvania, born in Philipsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 11, 2024, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father James Matier, Sr.; and his brother-in-law Kevin Mick, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Andrea Dobish (Selvage); his children, Lacy Cheskey and Eric Matier; his sister Patricia Mick; his stepfather David Dobish; and his stepsister Lisa Shaw. He is also survived by seven grandchildren with one on the way; several nieces and nephews, and two great-nephews.
