She was predeceased by: her parents, John Santhouse and Claire Santhouse (Fox); her brother John Santhouse, Jr.; and her pet Emmett. She is survived by: her husband Richard C. Eick; her daughters, Katie E. Jeanes (Brad) of Schnecksville and Kelly C. Eick of Hatfield; and her grandchildren, Dylan Jeanes and Emma Jeanes.

Susan was an active volunteer for the American Cancer Society in San Diego, CA, where she led a Breast Cancer support group for years.
