He was predeceased by: his parents, Willam C. Freeman and Margaret A. Freeman (Becker); and his sister Jan E. Visnar. He is survived by: his wife Joanne M. Freeman (Bobenich); his sons, William M. Freeman (Leanna M.) of Easton and Jason L. Freeman of Philadelphia; his brothers, W. Scott Freeman (Victoria Grochocinski) of Macungie, Robert R. Freeman (Heidi) of Fogelsville and Lee C. Freeman (Karla) of Hershey, PA; and his grandson Silas W. Freeman.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to: Tunnel to Towers or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
