She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Houser and Ruth Houser (Lyden). She is survived by: her son William Shea (Susan Holzman Shea) of Barto; her granddaughter Megan Kathleen Shea of Berkeley, CA; and her great grandchild Julian.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested in her memory to the West Chester, PA Public Library.
