Emma D. True Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 6, 2024, Emma D. True of Macungie, Pennsylvania, born in Reading, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Norman E. True; her parents, James H. Querns and Harriet Querns (Souders); and her daughter Kathy Lynn True. She is survived by: her daughters, Norma Jean Odgen (Peter) of Stafford, VA and Karen Lee Ensley (Ricky) of Schnecksville; her sister Christine Rogers-Evans of Reading; her grandchildren, Rev. Rebecca Dobitsch (Christian) of Nebraska, Jennifer Kareha, Dr. Stephen of Schnecksville, Victoria Ogden of Virginia, Michelle O'Neil (Michael) of Virginia and Kristin Lynn (Ryan) of Schnecksville; and her great grandchildren, Savannah, Jocelyn, Juliette Kareha, Michaela O'Neil, Atlas and Ranger Lynn.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (3231 Tilghman St, Allentown, PA 18104). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Cedar Hill Memorial Park (1700 Airport Rd, Allentown, PA 18109).

An active member of the church's knitting group, Emma handmade prayer shawls and hats to donate to elementary school children.
