He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph N. Reiss and Minnie Reiss (Moyer). He is survived by: his wife Shirley A. Reiss (Zentner); his sons, Barry J. Reiss (Wendy) and Jeffrey R. Reiss, Sr. (Dana); his sister Jean Bednar; and his granddaughter Monica Fife (Mark).
