He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernice A. Shoemaker (Reichard) and Gene Hersh. He is survived by: his daughters, Amiee M. Hersh and Karla S. Hersh; his grandchildren, Dylan Zimmerman, Bethany Bender and Lucas Bender; and his sister Donna Wharton (Hersh).
