He is survived by: his wife Barbara Silhanek; his daughters, Melissa McDonald (David) of Sidney, OH and Michele Thistlewaite (Scott) of New Hope, PA.; his stepson Eric Merkner (Polly) of Wellington, CO.; his grandchildren, Meaghan, Sophia McDonald, Carolyn, Kathryn, Madie, Emersyn Thistlewaite and Matthew McDonald; his stepgrandson Justin Sapar; and his brothers, Randy Silhanek (Joyce) of Bessemer and Douglas Silhanek (Paula) of Mt. Jackson.
