He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Buffington and Dorothy Shiley Buffington; his former wife Debbie Rodichok Buffington; and his sisters, Nancy Ward, Linda Baldwin, Dorothy Herb and Diane Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Renee Hoffman Buffington; and his children, April Frantz (Jeremy Ferree), Aimee Vernosky (Jason), Terry Sims (Theresa) and Rodney Sims (Cindy). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren.
