He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Mauser and Emma Mauser; and his siblings, Betty Zimmerman, Mary Schoffstall, Arlene Geiger, Anna Portzline, Shirley Knauber, Leon Mauser and John Mauser (Shotgun).

He is survived by: his wife Kay Mauser; his sister Joanne Rouscher; his children, Cindy Doyle (Larry), Sandy Eppley (Lester), Ruth Snyder (Steve), Rachel Deitrich, Richard Mauser, Jr. and Nancy Scheib (Shawn); his grandchildren, Pamela, James, Eric, Alix, Lydia, Katelyn, Sarah, John and Emily; and his great grandchildren, Addison, Isley, Callia, Ryanne, Juliana and Chip. He is also survived by his family as well as spoiling his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Christopher Lutheran Church, 635 N. 2nd St., Lykens, PA 17048 OR Residential Home Health and Residential Hospice, 100 Sterling Pkwy #110, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050.
