He was predeceased by: his parents, George Cain and Meariam Tressler Cain; his wife Laura M. Cain; his sons, Douglas and Jason Cain; and his granddaughter Lillian Cain.
He is survived by: his children, Georgette Gasaway (David), Dennis Cain, Jr. (Gretchen) and Scott Cain (Ashley); and his grandchildren, David, Acea Gasaway, Laura and Alexander Cain.
