She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles L. Reed and Verna Smeltz Reed; and her brothers, Albert Reed and Ronald "Butch" Reed. She is survived by: her husband Floyd E. Wertz; her sons, Scott A. Wertz (Abby) and Floyd A. Wertz (Stacy); her grandchildren, Zachary, Austin, Nicholas, Trevor, Travis, Paul, Sam and Caroline; her siblings, Marie Rinehart (Rich Matter), Charles "Pete" Reed (Mary Ellen) and George Reed (Joyce); and her sister-in-law Elaine Reed. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
