It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence J. Summerlin of Luzerne, Pennsylvania, born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, who passed away on May 23, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Lawrence departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Lawrence may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Lawrence leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his sisters, Rita and Barbara Ann. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Lloyd Summerlin; his children, Tracy Summerlin, Renee Summerlin and Luzerne (Jenn); and his pets, Lou and Smokey.
