With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joann Marx of Luzerne, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Joann left this world on April 18, 2025 at the age of 66, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Joann shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Joann farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Marx Jr. and Anna Olexa Marx; her sons, Joshua Parsons and Justin Rosser; and her brother Donald Marx.
She is survived by: her significant other Joseph Deyo; her daughter Jennifer Thompson (Brad); her granddaughter Katherine (Joseph Deyo); and her brother John Marx (Tammy). She is also survived by loving children and grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Yanaitis Funeral Home Inc. (55 Stark St, Hudson, PA 18705).
