It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jean Leandri of Luzerne, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 19, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Caroline Blassic and Jacob Blassic; her husband Rudy; her children, Linda, Rick (Vicki) and Elena (Jerome Crilley); her granddaughter Kara Grace Leandri; and her brother Cmdr.
She is survived by: her children, William (Christine), Norma (Tom Swartwood), David (Susan) and Daniel (Kathy); her grandchildren, Dr. Holly Leandri-May, Mandy Leandri-Babcock, Samantha Alesi, Allison Leandri-Kustrin, Joshua Wardell, Jacob Swartwood, Jesse Swartwood, Dr. Paul Leandri, Cameron Leandri, Stephanie Ehrenberger, Nathan Leandri, Benjamin Leandri, Alexandra Leandri, Melissa Dross and James Leandri; and her sisters, Carolyn Glaser and Delores Yakus.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Holy Family Parish (574 Bennett St, Luzerne, PA 18706). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Holy Family Parish, Luzerne; Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore; American Cancer Society; or ALS Association.
