We are sad to announce that on February 17, 2019, Helen Gurnari (Luzerne, Pennsylvania), born in Swoyersville, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Varaitis and Helen Katcavage Varaitis; and her brothers, James, Robert and Joseph Varaitis.
She is survived by: her spouse Lawrence Gurnari; her children, Diana Hoover of Dallas, Lawrence Gurnari, Jr. (Charleen) and James Gurnari (Debra, Forty Fort); and her grandchildren, Marisa (Bethlehem), James of New York, NY and Lauren (CA).
In lieu of flowers memorial donation can be made to American Lung Association.
