He is survived by: his wife Paula Lowman (Miles); his sons, Michael Burkes (Melis) of Tower City, PA and Mark Burkes (Casey) of Loris, SC; and his brother William Lowman of San Antonio, TX.. He is also survived by five granddaughters, four grandsons, a great-granddaughter.
