He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Schmader and Lorene Schmader (Gatesman); and his siblings, Donald, Kenneth (Pearl), Edwin (Joyce), Rupert Schmader, Vivian Weiser-Paul, Jean Lutz (Art) and Nancy Snyder (Bob).
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn M. Glosser; his children, Brenda Lander (Ken) of Lucinda, PA, Keith Schmader (Beverly) of Lucinda, PA and Todd Schmader of Lucinda, PA; his grandchildren, Heather Lander-Reisinger (Shaun), Kyle Lander (Shayli Hill) and Adam Schmader; and his great grandchildren, Isabella and Charlee Reisinger. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
