He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence B Gatesman, Sr. and Florence "Hop" O'Neill Gatesman. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Hoover (Peggy) of Snydersburg; his close friend Rufus; his children, Amy Lawson (Claude) of Corsica, PA, Matt (Lori Gatesman) and Amanda Gatesman-Ammer (Frank) of Marianna, PA; his grandchildren, Claude and Nathan Lawson; his children, Taylor, Abigail, Andrew Gatesman, Chelsea St. Julian and Deidre Tarosky; his great grandchild Isabel Park; his grandsons, Gabriel, Oliver, Elijah Tarosky and Wesley Lawson; and his sisters, Virginia Beichner (James) of Shippenville, PA and Sue Dzyak (Paul) of Swanton, OH. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to the Clarion Forest VNA Hospice, 271 Perkins Road, Clarion, PA 16214, who made his last days comfortable and pain-free.
