It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Ronald Shields of Loysville, Pennsylvania, who passed away at the age of 78, on July 19, 2021. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Shields and Betty Shields (Stewart) of Blain; and his brother Larry Shields. He is survived by: his wife Judy Shields (Benson); his children, Douglas Shields of Shippensburg, David Shields (Anne) of Morgan Hill, CA, Nathan Shields (Marcie) of Atlanta, GA and Joni Cotto (Claudio) of Loysville; his grandchildren, Analicia Cotto, Madison Shields, Caitlin Shields, Sawyer Cotto, Oliver Cotto and Asher Cotto; and his siblings, Eugenia Sheaffer (Wayne) of Loysville and Samuel Shields of Loysville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to West Perry Athletic Boosters Club (Cross Country or Track and Field), Attn: Jared Weibley, 2606 Shermans Valley Road, Elliottsburg, PA 17024.
