Rufus R. Swope Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 20, 2023, at the age of 95, Rufus R. Swope of Loysburg, Pennsylvania, born in Six Mile Run, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester L. Swope and Cora Mae Swope (Noel); his siblings, Anna Mae Moseby, Hazel Hoover, Zura Swope and Clinton Swope; and his siblings-in-law, Jack Moseby and Doris Swope.
He is survived by: his son John Mark Swope (Stephanie) of Wendell, NC; his brother Harold Lee Swope (Stone Mountain); and his close friends, Mike and Melinda Johnson. He is also survived by three grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
If friends so desire memorial contributions may be made in memory of Rufus to the Six Mile Run Church of God or the Children's Miracle Network.
