He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Derrick and Lottie Derrick Laidacker (Gray); and his siblings, Richard Derrick and Donna Smith. He is survived by: his son Matthew W. Derrick; his siblings, Dottie "Carmine" Alberico, George Derrick, Diane and Dale Derrick; and his stepfather Stanley Laidacker. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
