We are sad to announce that on May 19, 2022, at the age of 92, Ruth Esther Meckley of Loyalsock, Pennsylvania, born in Millville, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grant Gordner and Lois Kline Gordner; her former husband George W; her siblings, Paul Gordner, Betty Gordner, Grant Gordner and Donald Gordner; and her son-in-law Ronald Remy.
She is survived by: her husband Nelson B. Silverstrim, Jr.; her siblings, Dale Gordner (Faye) of Millville, PA and Robert Gordner (Dorothy) of Millville, PA; her daughter Nancy M. Remy of Oley, PA; her siblings, James G. Meckley (Kathy) of Loyalsock Township, John L. Meckley (Pascale) of Binghamton, NY, David W. Meckley (Mary) of Longboat Key, FL and Carol L. Meckley of Pennsdale, PA; and her stepsons, Nelson B. Silverstrim (Kathy) of South Williamsport, John Silverstrim (Brenda) of South Williamsport, Gary Silverstrim (Karen) of South Williamsport and J. Andrew Silverstrim (Diane) of South Williamsport. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 8 step grandchildren, and 5 step great grandchildren.
